Privacy notice (draft)

Status: working draft for the pilot. It must be reviewed by a qualified adviser for the applicable law (for example India's DPDP Act 2023 and, for EU users, GDPR) before public launch.

What we collect

• Account data from our sign-in provider (Clerk): name, email, sign-in identifiers.
• Profile data you enter: name, target role, experience, skills.
• Interview data: questions asked, your typed answers, timestamps, and technical interruption events such as lost connection or switching tabs.
• Evaluation data: rubric scores, evidence summaries and the generated report.
• Credit ledger entries (free trial grants and time used). Payment data will be processed by our payment provider when purchases open.

Recording

This release does not record audio or video. If recording is added, it will be off by default and require your explicit consent each time, with a clear statement of what is captured, who can access it and how long it is kept.

How we use it

To run the interview, evaluate technical answers, produce your report, enforce credit limits, prevent abuse, and improve question quality. Your answers are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) solely to generate follow-up questions and evaluations under their API data-use terms.

Sharing

Reports are private to you. You can create a share link for a recruiter; anyone with the link can view the report until you revoke it. Report downloads use short-lived private links. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

• Interview transcripts and reports: kept while your account is active (target: 24 months, configurable).
• Credit ledger and future billing records: kept as required for accounting and tax law.
• Access and audit logs: 12 months.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing jayachandrareddy.majjiga@gmail.com. Self-service export and deletion will be added to account settings.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, Neon). Access to interview data is restricted to you and authorised administrators for support and quality review, and administrative access is logged.
